The primary interest for Ossipee is the gravel quarry. Because of its location above Portsmouth yard and below Conway, action there will be limited to dropping off or picking up unit trains of cars for gravel in order to aviod causing operator congestion.
The double ended siding is simply to allow doe the locomotive to run around the cut of cars.
